It was a cold stormy winter day in Aizawl. The hotel that I was staying in is about 30 kms away from the Lengpui Airport. What usually takes an hour, took about 2.5 hours to get to the airport that day. All this while I was frantically praying that I don’t miss the flight. Whenever you travel to Singapore, I recommend take the late night flight. You cannot miss the island nation dotted with myriad orange lights which outline the ‘Lion city’. I love wearing black whenever I can. ​It perfectly poised and commands sophistication without demanding excessive maintenance. Yesterday, I spilled some tea on my dress. Thankfully the color dominated the stain. ​I would have dwelled on the brink of discomfort but this time the oddity of the niggling accident brought forth a lesson. Totally famished after my hour long run in the morning, I made a super spontaneous breakfast for myself today.  I wanted to eat healthily, but a cold salad was simply not appealing.
